There are many traditional crafts in the state, but the majority of its inhabitants work in agriculture, which is considered as an essential source of livelihood, especially since their land is characterized by fertility, which makes it suitable for many agricultural crops, relying on irrigation by the water of Aflaj and wells. The Bedouin people also tend to graze sheep and camels where Rawabi and plains contain approparaite herbs for the traditional craft are available. As of the coastal part of the state of "Ja’alan Bani Bu Hassan"- from Bandar al-Suqla to Bandar Juweira - the majority of the population practice fishing, which is a major source of their livelihood, and the inhabitants of Badia spinning by using the wool of the sheep that they raise, to obtain their needs of woolen.

The craft "Achammarh" includes other leather crafts, Koghamdh swords and guns ammunition systems. There are also include formation gold and silver, which range from women's ornaments to daggers. The majority of the population of the state manufactures various wool pots and a pottery factory of various kinds. They bring "pottery ore" from the sections of the western valleys of the state.
