The people of the State are known for practicing a variety of crafts and traditional industries. Agriculture is considered as the main craft of the State's people, and its most important products are dates, dates which are not ripe, seasonal crops of all kinds and self-sufficient citrus in its local market, they also specialize in the spinning and weaving of clothes, the special crafts of palm fronds, raising cattle, especially camels and horses with manfucturing their accessories and smethry. The most important traditional industries for the people of the Al-Qabil" state are silver industries such as daggers and jewelery, and the village Manjarad in Wadi Nam region is famouse of the confectionery industry, the pottery industry, as well as the Omani plaster industry.
