In a notable achievement that showcases Omani talent internationally, Pilot Officer Haitham bin Abdullah bin Salim Al Saidi of the Royal Air Force of Oman secured first place in the Specialist Aviation Engineering Course at RAF Cosford in the United Kingdom, and was awarded the prestigious Hallahan Trophy.

This trophy is bestowed on the officer who achieves the top academic performance in the course.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Air Commodore Abdul Nasser bin Hamad Al Shukaili, Military Attaché at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the United Kingdom.
