In addition to the paintings by Joana Mollet, the exhibition included two complex works created in cooperation with a group of girls from a public school. They carried a message from Omani youth that each of us has a role and responsibilities in preserving and protecting the environment. The waste discarded on the beaches was used to make the first work in order to demonstrate the damage to wildlife caused by the plastic that we discard, while the second represents hope for the future, which will restore our beaches to what they were before, clean and rich.
