Al Seeb,(ONA) - The Translation Committee of the Omani Society for Writers and Literati organized an online panel discussion entitled “Translation into Arabic: Reality and Challenges”, during which it hosted three literary translators and specialists in the field of translation at the local and Arab levels, namely Dr. Hilal bin Saeed Al Hajri, Dr. Radwan Dhawi from Algeria, an academic and a translator from German into Arabic, and Mohamed Ait Hanna from Morocco, a researcher and a translator from French into Arabic.

The session dealt with introducing translation, its historical process, the most famous translators, the specificity of languages, and the challenges that face the translator when translating into Arabic.
