The Cultural Club organizes on August 25 an online discussion session entitled “The National Logistics Strategy”, during which Al-Khattab bin Salem Al Maani, Executive Director of the Oman Logistics Centre, is hosted online on the club's accounts on various social media platforms.

The session moderated by Dr. Ahmed Al-Hooti will discuss many topics, including the ambitions of the National Logistics Strategy 2040, the importance of partnership with the private sector, how the strategy contributed to raising the efficiency of the logistics system, especially the Omani ports, the most prominent initiatives to facilitate trade and the results that have been achieved. It also sheds light on the most prominent foundations of logistical technology in the Sultanate, the digital transformation in the sector and the international indicators of the World Bank that the Sultanate has reached.

This session comes within the “Hiwar Al Majlis” program which the club devotes to discussing national and societal issues, in order to shed light on the various issues of concern to the Omani society, whether in the intellectual, social or economic fields, by selecting topics that may contribute to change for the better or through presenting the idea to specialists and interested persons in order to be addressed.ONA
