Muscat, (ONA) - The Ministry of Arts Affairs, represented by the Omani Society for Fine Arts, is organizing the exhibition for the works of the art competition for creators that the ministry launched in early April for Omani and resident creators in the Sultanate. The aim of the competition was to contribute, through the arts, to strengthening the efforts of the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic to limit its spread and invest young talents to urge community members to stay at home.

The number of works participating in this exhibition, which will start next Wednesday and continue for more than a month, is 136 works of art, with the participation of 68 artists. Those interested in art as well as art connoisseurs will be allowed to visit the exhibition and see its artwork through the link that will be published on the society's channel (osfagovoman) on the electronic social media platforms.

It is worth noting that the exhibition's works will include several categories, including plastic arts, drawing, calligraphy, digital arts, caricature and video art, according to certain requirements previously published. In order to encourage the young and amateurs of plastic artists in the field of plastic arts, a participation was allocated for the age group under the age of 18 with the aim of motivating them, developing their talents and caring for their artistic production.
