“Disney” decides to postpone “Mulan” release

Washington, ONA) - Disney decided to postpone the release of “Mulan” again until mid-August. It deals with the story of a legendary Chinese warrior.

“The epidemic has changed Mullen’s release plans (to movie theatres) and we will be flexible according to the situation,” said Alan Bergman and Alan Horn, Co-Chairmen of The Walt Disney Studios.

“The director Nikki Caro, the actors and the crew, have made a wonderful, epic and influential film that embodies what the cinematographic experience should be,” they added, noting that “the movie has its place in the international halls so that people all over the world can enjoy it.”

The move comes after Warner Brothers postponed until mid-August the release of the thriller “Tenet” by Christopher Nolan.

The “Disney” group had postponed the release of more than 12 major films in early April, notably “Black Widow” and “The Eternals” in addition to “Thor” and “Dr. Strange” due to the epidemic of Covid-19 until November 2.
