Muscat,(ONA) - The Omani Society for Fine Arts affiliated to the Ministry of Arts Affairs announced the establishment of a charitable art exhibition, whose proceeds will go to Oman’s Ministry of Health fund to support the fight against coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic), with the participation of a number of Omani plastic artists residing in the Sultanate.

The association invited these artists to present their artistic paintings to the association, on the basis of an artistic painting for each plastic artist, who in turn displays the paintings in the charitable exhibition and sell them at auction to the public, at affordable prices.

The artist Mariam bint Abdul-Karim Al-Zadjali, Director of the Omani Society for Fine Arts, said that the society’s adoption of the idea of holding this charitable exhibition came out of the society’s keenness on the participation of the plastic artist as a member of this dear country, contributing his artistic creations to support the special fund to face the effects of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
