The French government plans to reopen cinemas

Paris,(ONA) - The French government intends to reopen cinemas starting next Monday, indicating that the stadiums will receive the fans again, starting from July 11, with a maximum of five thousand spectators.

Citing the French press agency, the government said in a statement that the “improved health situation” linked to the Covid-19 epidemic makes it possible “to lift some measures, as long as everyone maintains their vigilance.”

The government indicated that it is possible to review the maximum number it set with five thousand spectators in stadiums and racetracks if the health situation improves after mid-August.

It added that international cruises may resume “in September” if the epidemic continues to subside.

The French Football Championship 2019-2020 had stopped permanently on March 8 due to the novel coronavirus, while it is hoped that the Professional Football League will begin next season on August 23.
