Malachian cinemas resume their activities with “Call of the Forest”

Antananarivo,(ONA) - Cinemas in Madagascar have resumed their activities after a hiatus of several months due to the precautionary measures taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, which includes the closure of all shops which involve gatherings. However, precautionary conditions accompanied this resumption, including reducing the number of spectators and mandatory spacing between them in the hall, in addition to wearing masks and sterilization.

The ancient Tana Waterfront Ambodivona house in the capital, Antananarivo, launched this reopening with the famous movie “Call of the Forest”, which deals with the problem of a chivalrous dog that was grown up in harsh conditions, so he endured with patience until the relief came.

The events of the story took place in the year 1890, during the search for gold, when some animal smugglers kidnapped the huge and loud dog “Bock” who spoiled by his wealthy owners in California.

The poor dog was mistreated by a number of his new owners, then he turned to a nice French man who used him to drag the carriages before he became an old companion working in gold mining, who ultimately allowed him to return to nature.

The scenario alternates dramatic and impressive scenes depicted in luxurious natural decorations. The French, Omar Sy, has performed adorably as the owner of the dog-drawn cart, while the American, Harrison Ford, excelled in the role of the old man searching for gold.
