Muscat,(ONA) - The Cultural Club organizes a remote workshop on the 16th and 17th of June, entitled “Scientific Adventures in our Summer Vacation”, by Dr. Wafa Al Shamsiah, targeting the 12-16 age group.

The session aims to pay attention to science fiction literature due to its rarity, the lack of its writers at the level of the Arab world and highlight the literature of children and young adults in the field of science fiction, and the general frameworks for writing in this area. The workshop also includes an analytical reading of anecdotal models in the field of science fiction to identify the most prominent features and characteristics related to it, and training participants on the basics of writing a science fiction story within methodological stages that include the idea, draft, review, and editing with giving feedback after completing each stage. The workshop also aims to contribute to cultivating the talents of emerging writers, and to enrich the cultural scene with science fiction stories.
