Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tareq, Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al-Busaidi, Minister of State, Governor of Dhofar, presided over today the screening of a display titled “Movement of Oman on Land of Oman” at Samhram Archaeological Park, in the presence of a number of Ministers and dignitaries. 

The documentary which organized by the Office of His Majesty the Sultan’s Adviser for Cultural Affairs displayed over one of the hills of Samhram archaeological site using acoustic effects on the background. 

The visual display mainly covered the history of Oman through the ancient ages till modern age, including the history of ancient Omani trading routes around the world, in addition to the historical relations of Omani empire with different civilization, and also the life of Omani man in the ancient ages and the history of seafaring in Oman.
