Muscat,  (ONA) - The National Museum, represented by the Learning Center and with the support of BP Oman, organized a poetry evening entitled “A Session in Love of the Homeland” last night, in conjunction with the Sultanate’s celebrations of the fiftieth National Day via the Zoom platform.

A number of Omani poets participated in the evening, including Faisal Al-Farisi, Hilalah Al-Hamdaniya, and Hilal Al-Shiyadi, and the session was moderated by Abdul Aziz Al-Omairi. The poets chanted a number of poems that embodied love of the homeland and loyalty to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The poems also reviewed the historical greatness of Oman and its developmental achievements, rejoicing what has been achieved on the peaceful land of Oman.
