London, November 3 (ONA) - International racer Al-Faisal Al-Zubair returns to the car tracks again when he will participate on Saturday and Sunday in the final round of the British GT race, which will be held at the British Silverstone circuit, in one of the most important and prominent car races on the European continent.
Al-Faisal will participate in this race after receiving an invitation to participate in the race with the 2 Seas Motorsport team, ranked as one of the top teams in Europe. The race will last for three hours and Al Faisal will drive with his teammate Martin Kodric at McLaren 720 GT3.
Al-Faisal's return to the car tracks comes after an absence of ten months due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The talented young racer’s last appearance was in Dubai circuit as he was competing at the Hankook 24Hr Dubai 2020. The race was not completed due to heavy rain and the organising committee cancelled the race.
Al-Faisal Al-Zubair is participating with his current team, 2 Seas Motorsport, in the last round of the British race, after the invitation he received from one of the most prominent teams, who is currently third in the overall standings of the race. The call to enhance the team's value to achieve better results in the final round comes after the team secured first place in the penultimate round.
The team relies a lot on Al-Faisal to deliver the team to the podium again and consolidate its current position. Al-Faisal was chosen based on his excellent experience he has gained in different races that he took part including Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East, Porsche BWT GT3 Cup and the GCC Endurance races. During his career, he achieved good speed rates and great development in his technical and leadership level.
Al Faisal Al Zubair will enter the race in silver category with other opponents. He will look definitely to demonstrate and develop his technical performance as he will join in the forthcoming endurances races in the next season. Al-Faisal intends to participate in an endurance race during the next season, after it was not possible to participate during the last season due to the conditions of the Corona pandemic, which has stopped all sporting activities around the world.
Al-Faisal, in the middle of last week, tried a test with his team, 2 Seas Motorsport, in order to prepare the best for the next and final race, with fellow racer Martin at the Silverstone circuit.
