Muscat, (ONA) - The Asian Basketball Confederation (ABC) has nominated Omani international referee Ahmed bin Darwish Al Balushi to participate in managing the qualifying matches for the 2021 AFC Asian Cup in Doha, which will be held from November 27 until December 1.

The international, Ahmed bin Darwish Al-Balushi, is among the elite referees in Asia, as he participated in the management of a number of tournaments, the most important of which was refereeing the second round between the teams of Iraq and Qatar, and the summit match between the Iranian and Iraqi teams within the World Cup basketball qualifiers. He also participated in refereeing the Rio Olympics 2016 and the final of the Asian Club Cup in China, managing and refereeing the final qualifiers of the 29th Dubai International Basketball Championship, as well as managing and refereeing a number of final matches in a number of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and a number of Arab and local leagues.
