Muscat, (ONA) - The Oman Volleyball Association (OVA) participated in the 23rd meeting of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) General Assembly, which was held via video conferencing.

During the meeting, the Indonesian Rita Sobowo was recommended as President of the AVC, succeeding Saudi Dr. Saleh bin Nasser.

Bahraini Jihad Khalfan Al-Sheikh was also approved as the AVC's financial auditor for the coming period. In addition, the administrative and financial reports for the last period were approved and the 2020 budget was reviewed.

The Omani Volleyball Association was represented at the meeting by Sheikh Badr bin Ali Al Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Volleyball Association.
