Muscat, (ONA) - The Oman Chess Committee participated in the international chess coaches’ seminar organized by the Arab Chess Federation and the Coaches Committee of the International Chess Federation, with the participation of a group of coaches from different Arab countries through video conferencing.

The course began with a general introduction to the game of chess and how to win and control the course of play. It included several topics, most notably the start and end of the game, how to evaluate the situation, finding a way out using the appropriate plan and preventive thinking, clarifying the patterns of strategies, how to teach chess planning and working on improving the calculation.
