Muscat,(ONA) The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth represented by the Sports Leadership Preparation Centre is organizing tomorrow the “Effective Community Leadership” course through video conferencing with the aim of enhancing the participants' knowledge and developing their skills and capabilities.

The course aims to maintain communication between the Sports Leadership Preparation Centre in sports institutions in light of the coronavirus pandemic, develop knowledge, skills and abilities of active youth sports leaders, and prepare and qualify them in various fields.

The total number of participants in the seminar reached 180 participants from sports association, committees, clubs, the Department of Women's Activity, as well as all members of society interested in sports.

The activities of the seminar will open with a speech by His Excellency the Deputy Minister. Then, the Jordanian lecturer, Engineer Omar Arif, will speak about several main topics, the most important of which are an introduction to effective leadership, planning and coordination skills, creative leadership skills, the secrets of the success of the effective leader, and the consolidation of the concept of emotional intelligence in effective communication with youth and the local community, reducing stress in the work environment in order to increase production, improving the quality of work and innovation, efficiency in encouraging and motivating initiatives, skills of influencing followers and the ability to direct them.
