London, September 10 (ONA) - The United Kingdom has launched a walking program for soldiers wounded in wars, which is planned to be held during the coming period of this year 2020, in which a number of veterans from the United Kingdom and the Sultanate will participate. The hike is held as part of the celebration of the fiftieth National Day of the Renaissance, as the participants will pass through different geographical and touristic areas in the Sultanate.
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, during the inauguration ceremony of the program, sent a visual message to the participants, through which he expressed his great pleasure in holding this march despite the difficult circumstances, stressing the long-term friendship existing between the two friendly countries, which shows the participants' determination to implement it.
It should be noted that this march is organized by the British Association for Supporting Old Wounded People in coordination with the Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces and the support of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments at the Ministry of Defence.
