Muscat,(ONA) - The Omani School Sports Association organized today as part of its activities to qualify and train school sport members, a workshop entitled “Sports Leadership” presented by Dr. Farid bin Khamis Al Zadjali, the President of the Oman Basketball Association.

The lecturer initially dealt with the principles of public administration and how to invest it in the sports, educational and technical side, as well as defining sports leadership and the characteristics of a successful leader, and ideal success strategies that a leader can follow in line with the situation. The behavioural aspect of leadership, and the principles and values of Olympic sport were also covered.

During the training session, a number of life examples were presented about the importance of leadership for success in all aspects, especially in sports.
