Salalah,(ONA) - The first football team of the Dhofar Club began its preparations for the upcoming entitlements by conducting its first training sessions on the main court of the club, led by national coach Rashid Jaber.

Before the start of the exercises, the technical and administrative staff took the necessary measures while adhering to the required health and preventive controls and precautions, in order to preserve the health and safety of everyone.

The first gathering of the team witnessed about 26 players, who conducted various exercises to raise their physical aspect after long suspension due to the novel corona virus pandemic, in order to identify their potential.

It should be noted that the first football team of the Dhofar Club has several local and foreign entitlements, represented in the AFC Cup, in which Dhofar participates in Group C, next to Al-Riffa of Bahrain, Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait and Al-Jazira of Jordan.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has granted the Jordanian team Al-Jazira the right to host the group at the end of next October.
