Muscat, August 26 (ONA) - The Oman Table Tennis Association has organized a workshop through video conferencing on the counselling and medical system in preparation for the coming period, with the aim of educating players and all members of the game about the most important precautionary measures that must be followed.

The workshop targeted all players, coaches, administrative and technical crews of the clubs, referees, media professionals, photographers and all interested in the game. An integrated and detailed explanation of the most important procedures to be followed before, during and after the training or competition period was provided. The workshop began by giving the participants an introduction to the impact of the corona pandemic on public life and sports in general, and table tennis in particular.

The safety of players and practitioners was addressed as well as the most prominent instructions and directives that are strongly recommended to all players and practitioners, whether in sports clubs, centres, and academies in addition to amateurs in entertainment centres.
