Its previous date was during the period from 7 to 15 October in the Iranian city of Shiraz, but the new date for the championship will be in the first half of March 2021 in the Iranian city of Shiraz.
The Asian Handball Federation has also determined the dates of the remaining tournaments. The new date for the second Asian Beach Championship for male and female juniors will be in the second half of February 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand, the ninth Asian Junior Championship in the second half of March 2021 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the fifth Asian Clubs Championship for Women in the first half of April 2021 in Kazakhstan and the 23rd Asian Championship for “men” in the second half of May 2021 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In a related context, the Omani Handball Association has assigned the task of training our national youth handball team in the preparation for the Asian Youth Championship to national coach Adel Al-Hasani and coach Badr Al-Tamimi as assistant coach and goalkeeping coach and Jamal Al-Dugaishi as the manager of the national team.
An appropriate preparation program has been set up for this participation, through which the association seeks to achieve an advanced result that satisfies the aspirations of everyone after the Sultanate hosted the 16th Asian Youth Championship in Dhofar Governorate in 2018.
