Muscat, (ONA) - A number of handball referees in the Sultanate participated in a lecture entitled “The Psychological Characteristics of the Successful Referee” organized by the Kuwait Handball Federation as part of a series of lectures held via video conferencing targeting referees and coaches.

The participation of the Sultanate’s referees in this lecture is part of the joint cooperation program between the Omani and Kuwaiti handball federations, with the aim of developing the referees’ level in preparation for the start of the new sports season in the coming period.

The lecture focused on the physical, technical and psychological preparation of players, refereeing aspects, how to return to training after the corona virus pandemic, and preventive measures to return to training after a long break.
