Muscat, (ONA) - The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Sports Affairs, participated in the fifth meeting of the media committee of the Council of Ministers of Youth and Sports in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, through videoconference organized by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The agenda of the meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of topics, including the measures of the ministries of youth and sports in the GCC countries to tackle the corona virus and the most important media proposals and initiatives during the pandemic period. The meeting also discussed the idea of creating an application for volunteering for youth in the GCC countries that monitors joint Gulf activities, as well as discussing the periodic report of the Media Committee and the proposed account for the Media Committee in the GCC countries.

The Ministry of Sports Affairs was represented at the meeting by Hamzah bin Ali Aidarous, Director of Public Relations and Information Department.
