Muscat, - The Omani Swimming Association carried out today a training lecture via video conferencing entitled "Pathway for long-term swimmer development" with the aim of refining and developing the technical level of coaches.

During the lecture, the Canadian experience in developing swimmers and their follow-up program to take them to the advanced levels of tournaments was delivered. The lecture witnessed the participation of 50 coaches from the Sultanate, in addition to the participation of some coaches working in the field of swimming from outside the Sultanate.

The participants interacted with the lecturer and unanimously agreed that the lecture contributed to the enhancement of their culture and skills in addition to providing them with rich concepts and information.
