The Italian Football Federation announces the summer transfer period from September to October

Rome, June 9 (ONA) - The Italian Football Federation announced that the summer transfer period will start on the first of next September, two months after its date, and will end on the fifth of October, according to Reuters news agency.

Football matches in Italy have been stalled since March due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the season is expected to continue until August.

It is expected that the Italian League, which stopped on the ninth of March, will resume on June 20 and end on the second of August. If another pause prevents the completion of the season, a complicated calculation method will be used to settle the final standings of the league.

For its part, Sky Sports reported that the English Football Association is studying proposals to move the transfer date from June to August, while the French Federation opened the transfer window yesterday for local deals.
