The Higher Education Admission Centre (HEAC) at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation announced today that the deadline for application for vacant seats and new programs in the second sorting of the academic year 2020/2021 will be extended until 11 PM of 31 October.

      This extension comes to provide an opportunity for a greater number of students, especially those who did not receive academic offers in the first sorting, to apply for the new programs in the internal scholarships in private higher education institutions and the full or partial scholarships offered by private universities and colleges.

      The center announced on its website that there are (5309) vacant seats for the second sorting, of which (1138) seats at government higher education institutions, and (4132) seats at private higher education institutions, along with (39) external scholarship and grant seats.

      The center will announce the results of the second sorting for the academic year 2020/2021 in higher education institutions on 5 November. The applicants will be given five days (8-12 November) for registration procedures at higher education institutions.ONA
