The 90th Meeting of the Executive Body of the GCC Health Council commenced virtually today with the participation of Dr. Said Al-Lamki, Director General of Primary Health Care at Ministry of Health (MOH), member of Health Council.

     The two-day meeting discusses spectrum of topics including updates of the Gulf  Diseases Prevention and Control Center and the Health Council Executive Plan 2021, as well as the technical affairs related to woman and child health, school health & health of the youth and adolescents, elderly care, oral and dental health, tuberculosis control, respiratory diseases and tobacco control, in addition to common and transmitted diseases control, and vaccinations.

      The meeting highlights further the tenders of Gulf unified procurement program, central drug registration, drug pricing and medical product classification, in addition to pharmaceuticals and medical device post-market surveillance, and other issues.ONA
