Majlis A'Shura yesterday referred to the State Council a draft law on the protection of personal data, which was referred by the Council of Ministers. This step came after extensive discussions on some of the articles that dealt with the amendments made by the Legislative and Legal Committee and focused on the compatibility of this draft law with a number of relevant law and regulations.
