The Engineering Services at the Ministry of Defense continue to provide engineering and technical support due to the tropical condition experienced by the Governorate of Dhofar.

          The Ministry has drained water pools in a number of facilities in government institutions in the Governorate of Dhofar. It is also sending technical teams to fix various technical faults, connecting electric power generators with their full readiness to deal with any emergency, and providing support, whenever necessary.

          These tasks come within the framework of the integrated national efforts provided by the Sultan Armed Forces (SAF) and other departments of the Ministry of Defense in activating plans to contain the effects of the tropical condition witnessed by the Governorate of Dhofar.ONA
