The Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the registration of 74 new cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Friday. Of these 35 are Omanis and 39 non-Omanis.

With these the total number of registered cases in the sultanate stands at 1,790. These include nine deaths. 

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in the country stands at 325, the ministry stated in its tweet.

MoH has urged people to continue with the social distancing practices and adhere to the precautionary measures stipulated by the Supreme Committee.
