As per of the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the Sultanate dispatched a number of relief flights to the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran, which was hit by adverse climate conditions. The flights were operated by the aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO).  The aircrafts took off from Al Musannah Air Base today to Iran, carrying on board various foodstuff and necessary humanitarian needs, in coordination with Oman Charitable Organization. The flights come as part of the humanitarian assistance provided by the Sultanate to the brotherly and friendly countries during emergency situations.
