Times of Oman-- The activities of the Jabal Al Akhdar Tourism Festival kicked off on Tuesday

The festival has been organised by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, the Office of the Wali of Jabal Al Akhdar with the Oman team on horseback.

It includes many entertainment and tourism activities that will last for five days.

The first of the festival activities began with the launch of the mountain walk on horses in cooperation with the Oman team, and it is the first of its kind in the state. The Wali of Jabal Al-Akhdar, said: “The Tourism Festival is the first of its kind in the state, and we value the efforts made to organise it.”

He expressed his hope that the festival will become an annual phenomenon in the Wilayat of Jabal Al-Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
