The National Competitiveness Committee (NCC) today held its first periodic meeting for 2022. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Chairman of the committee.

Held at the Ministry of Economy, the meeting covered several topics on the agenda that included following up the approved decisions taken during the last committee's meeting.

Additionally, the committee discussed the media plan of the National Competitiveness Office (NCO), which will enable the office to reach the targeted segments of surveys issued by international organisations and raise overall public awareness.

The meeting also reviewed Oman's positions in international reports and indices listed in the Oman Vision 2040 that NCO monitors. It also discussed ways to advance Oman's position.

NCO coordinates with local and international parties to raise Oman's rankings in international reports and indices.
