Maj. Gen Said Rashid Al Shehi, Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Land Forces, visited yesterday the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).

The guest was accompanied during the visit by Brigadier Humaid Abdullah Al Ma’amari, Head of Administration and Human Resources at the Royal Army of Oman Command.

Upon the guest’s arrival at the MSC, he was greeted by the Acting Head of the MSC.

The Emirati guest and members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the roles and tasks carried out by the centre in maintaining safety of the maritime environment. They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties.
