Muscat: On the occasion of the  anniversary of Isra’a Wal Miraj, March 1, 2022 (Tuesday), will be an official holiday for employees in both government and private sectors in Oman.

The Ministry of Labour stated that employers may agree on terms to engage employees on the said holiday—if deemed necessary due to the nature of their work—provided they compensate the workers for the holiday.
