he 2nd meeting of senior officials between the Sultanate of Oman and the European Union (EU) on the level of technical work teams began at the general diwan of the Foreign Ministry here yesterday.

The two-day meeting comes within the framework of the cooperation arrangement agreement, signed in 2018 between the Foreign Ministry and the EU’s External Action Service (EEAS).

The Omani side during the meeting was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, the ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs while the European side was headed by Carl Hallergard, Director for the Middle East and North Africa in EEAS.

The meeting covered topics related to the joint cooperation between Oman and the EU in various fields.
