The Ministry of Social Development in cooperation with the Arab Open University organized a seminar titled (Volunteering and its Impact on Society), under the patronage of Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development.

The seminar included several working papers on introducing volunteering and methods of developing its skills, identifying necessary information to establish voluntary projects, highlighting impacts of volunteering on the community, as well as the role of active associations in the community in the field of volunteering.
