As many as 214 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 24 hours, in addition to 6 new Covid-19-related death cases. This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 300,408 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3999, the Ministry of Health said. The Ministry added that 313 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 288,702 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 28 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 244 of them 107 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
