As many as 1173 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in Oman today, in addition to 7 new Covid-19-related death cases.  

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 158,056 in the Sultanate. The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 1669, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry also pointed out that (454) new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to (143,389) recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 88 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 507, of them 154 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
