The Sultanate has welcomed the initiative announced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to reach a political solution for the crisis in the Republic of Yemen.

A statement issued here yesterday asserts that the Sultanate will continue to work with the KSA, the United Nations and the Yemeni parties concerned to achieve the desired political settlement that will restore to Yemen its security and stability, establish peace in the region and maintain the interests of its countries.
