HM The Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, may Allah protect and preserve him, graciously conferred Royal Orders this morning at Al Barakah Palace on a number of Their Highnesses, Their Excellencies, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and the Royal Oman Police, and senior officers from the military and security services, in appreciation by the country’s revered monarch of their sincere efforts in performing their professional duties, and in conjunction with the nation’s celebrations of the Glorious National Day.
HM The Sultan, may Allah support him, conferred the Al Rusoukh Order (Second Class) on:
HH Sayyid Dr. Fahad bin Al Julanda Al Said, Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University, HH Sayyid Nader bin Al Julanda Al Said, Secretary General at the Diwan of Royal Court, and HH Sayyid Dr. Kamil bin Fahad Al Said, Secretary General at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers.
HM The Sultan, may Allah grant him glory, conferred the Supreme Order of Honour on: His Excellency Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, and His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior.
HM The Sultan, may Allah protect and preserve him, conferred the Al Rusoukh Order (Second Class) on His Excellency Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council.
HM The Sultan, may Allah grant him glory, conferred the Royal Commendation Order (First Class) on: His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saeedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, and His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information.
HM The Sultan, may Allah protect and preserve him, conferred the Oman Civil Order (First Class) on:
His Excellency Lt. Gen. Said bin Ali Al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service, His Excellency Hussein bin Ali bin Abdullatif, Adviser at the Private Office, His Excellency Sayyid Dr. Sultan bin Yaarub Al Busaidi, Adviser at the Private Office, and His Excellency Ahmed bin Jaafar Al Musalami, Governor of the Central Bank of Oman.
HM The Sultan also conferred the Royal Commendation Order (First Class) on His Excellency Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sarmi, Head of the Royal Protocols.
