The Ministry of Information presented 2 awards during its participation in the annual awards ceremony of the Foreign Press Association, the “Journalism Oscars,” held in the British capital, London.

The 2 awards recognized impactful investigative and news reporting, as well as inspiring human-interest stories, in a move that underscores the Sultanate of Oman’s support for the media content industry and its appreciation of journalistic talent at the international level. The awards were presented to the winning journalists by His Excellency Ambassador Badr bin Mohammed Al Mundhiri, the Sultanate of Oman’s accredited Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The ceremony was attended by a number of media professionals, artists, and intellectuals, in addition to diplomats from the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in London.
