It is founded in 1995 as the first private sector college in Oman, Majan has been at the forefront of higher education in the Sultanate since then. In December 2017, Majan obtained full institutional accreditation from Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) and maintained its status as a leading college by being the first higher education institution in the country to do so. The college is located on one campus in Darsit in the state of Muttrah that is a home to gather a multicultural academic community with more than 100 employees from different countries.
Majan is a college accredited by the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman.It offers bachelor's programs in Business Administration with 7 tracks namely, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Computer and Internet Applications, Networks and English Language. These are delivered in full time mode and partial part.The MBA programs include Business Administration, Computer Science and International Human Resource Management from Bedfordshire University.
